Troubleshooting Aquastorm 200C Dryer 1 temperature more than setting
1: Calibration
Make sure the deviation value is within +/- 5 degrees.

Just measure the temperature and enter what you measure into the calibration page. This will automatically update the Actual value and the Offset on the Dryer Troubleshooting page. It should not be more than +/- 5 degrees. If it is try again or replace the TC.

2:Check the size of the inlet for the exhaust and the mixing heating box
The Torrid Zone is a high-efficiency dryer module that offers substantial improvement in both efficiency and environmental performance. It is estimated to reduce exhaust requirements by 44% and power consumption by 15%. The high performance convection drying module has the capacity to dry complex assemblies to approximately within 0.1 gram of original dry weight. The controlled air recirculation improves control of the blow–off air temperature and improves discharge efficiency. This is done by zone one's incorporation of a 15 HP direct drive blower. There is no heaters in this zone. The temperature is created by air friction and recirculating the air from zone two (which is heated) back to the intake of zone one's blower. This recirculation of air has to be balanced with the machine exhaust and the fresh air intake to achieve the desired temperature in zone one.
BLAST GATES LOCATION
There are three (3) blast gates located on the Torrid Zone module. One (Fresh Air Intake) of the blast gates is located on the load side of the rear intake air mixing box where the cylindrical filter is located. To access the interior blast gates it is necessary to remove the rear panels of the module.

The other two (2) blast gates are located on the exterior of the machine directly on the exhaust.

BLAST GATES ADJUSTMENT
Begin with all of the blast gates wide open. Adjust the gate located on exhaust #1 until there is little discernible air moment where the conveyor exits the machine. It is desirable to have a very slight intake of air at the exit, but if the curtains are moving enough to be drawn inward, there is too much intake.
Temperature stabilization is achieved by adjusting the two (2) blast gates, with one located on the intake air mixing box. The gate elevates the temperature as it is closed by causing more warm air to be drawn through the blower. The exhaust #2 blast gate in the ceiling of the cabinet influences the circulation of air in the cabinet. Closing the blast gates causes a decrease in air circulation.
3:It might be that the pipe connecting the mixing heating box and the blower collapsed internally, causing overheating. In severe cases, it could trigger a high-temperature alarm for the blower.
Detach the intake hose from the blower that connects back to the mixing box and take a closer look. It features an internal and external wrap reinforced with wire for strength. If the internal section of the hose had collapsed, restricting proper airflow and causing the blower to overheat. .
