To remove a license from a PC for LCC Manager or Protocol Manager Pro see the following.
The license location differs depending on the software version and/or product name. Check all locations to remove any license information.
- Log into the computer with a Windows Administrator level account.
- For all user account folders in the C:\Users folder, check the following in each user’s data.
- Navigate to the C:\Users\{User}\Documents\Despatch\LCC_Manager/Persona folder.
- If the folder exists, delete all files in the Persona folder.
- If the folder doesn’t exist continue to next user if more exist.
- Navigate to the C:\ProgramData\Despatch\LCC_Manager\Persona folder. Note, the ProgramData folder is not typically visible but can be accessed by typing the path into the Windows Explorer path bar.
- If the folder exists, delete all files in the Persona folder.
- If the folder doesn’t exist continue.
- Navigate to the C:\ProgramData\Despatch\ProtocolManagerPro\Persona folder.
- If the folder exists, delete all files in the Persona folder.
- If the folder doesn’t exist continue.
The LCC Manager or Protocol Manager Pro software can be removed per typical Windows program removal procedures. This is optional. Any software still installed runs in a time-limited trial mode.
