What Water Quality is Recommended for Cooling in Despatch Ovens?

The use of untreated or improperly treated water in cooling coils may result in scaling, corrosion, or erosion.   Despatch recommends that a qualified water treatment specialist be consulted to determine what water treatment is required.

 

Despatch assumes no responsibility for equipment failures due to untreated or improperly treated water.

 

Following are some general guidelines for water quality.

No suspended solids

Conductivity 50-600 uS/cm

pH: 7.5 to 9.0

Chloride:  125 mg/L maximum

Sulfate:  35 mg/L maximum
