The preheater configuration is depending on the type of production and the type of flux.
Alcohol based flux
- Same product; Calrod / Calrod /Calrod
- Mix of products; Calrod / Calrod / Quarts (Quarts is changing fast)
- Pallets or heavy PCB’s; Calrod / Forced top and bottom side / Forced top and bottom side.
VOC free flux
- Same product; Calrod or Forced/ Forced / Calrod or Forced
- Mix of products; Calrod / Forced / Forced & Forced topside. This configuration can be a challenge because the preheating process in combination conveyor speed must be set that all different products can be produced with the same process parameters.
- Pallets or heavy PCB’s; Calrod or Forced / Forced top and bottom side /Forced top and bottom side.
