- Before removing the Protocol Plus from the oven, record what wire are connected to each of the terminals on the back of the Protocol Plus control.
- Unplug the wiring from the back of the Protocol Plus control, and remove the control from the oven control panel.
- Install the new Protocol3 control into the oven cabinet.
- Connect the terminal blocks to the Protocol 3 as indicated in the table below.

Oven Configuration files (LAC, LCC, LCC-N, LCD, LCD-N, LBB, LAD, LFD, LND, LXD, PTC, T-D, R-D, GAS-500, GAS-650,)
To load configuration into control:
- Insert USB memory stick into Protocol 3 control
- Press
to display Mode Unlock Code screen. - Press
as necessary to enter Factory Unlock Code 0010. - Press
to display the USB Menu screen. - Press
to select Read Configuration File. - Press
to display Select File screen. - Press
or 
to highlight the file name that corresponds with the model number of your oven. - Press
to display Confirm Read? - Press
to select Yes. - Press
to read configuration file into the control. - Press
- Press
and 
at the same time twice to exit to the Select a Mode screen. - Remove USB memory stick.
Your control is now configured for your model oven.
