Here’s how to reset the Benchmark logon password:
- Close the Benchmark user interface
- Stop the Benchmark server
- Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools
- Double-click Services
- Locate the Benchmark server in the Name column
- Right-click on the Benchmark server
- Select Stop
- Exit Services
- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedline\Benchmark for Printers\Database
- Delete the file security.bin
- Restart the computer
After the restart, Benchmark will regenerate the file security.bin. The only valid Benchmark logon username and password will be:
User name: Administrator
Password: Admin
