- Confirm that you do not have an Estop
- Make sure that A1-K1 and A1-27 relays on the A1 board are on. There should be a LED on next to the relay when there is no Estop.
- Confirm that you have 120 VAC between wires 25 and 19 on the X10 terminal blocks.
- Make sure the connections on the actuators are tight.
- Unclip the plastic clamp above the plugs.
- Pull out each actuator plug and reseat them.
- Unplug the W007 key switch plug on the control box and then reseat the plug. The plug is sometimes difficult to plug in. It requires extra force to press the plug all the way in.
- Test to see if the hood will raise or lower with the Key switch.
- Bypass the A1 board.
- Unplug the P9 plug from the A1 board.
- To try to raise the hood, touch a jumper wire between wires 3000 and 3003 on the P9 plug.
- To try to lower the hood, touch a jumper wire between wires 3000 and 3002 on the P9 plug.
- If either of these works, there are a few possible issues.
- Bad A1-K1 or A1-K27 on the A1 board if the LED is on.
- Bad connection on the PX 39 plug on the back of the monitor tray. Unplug this, confirm the pins on both the male and female plugs are seated right and then plug it back in. Test the circuit again.
- Defective S32 hood key switch contact.
- Bad connection of the contacts of the key switch.
- The W007 could be defective.
- To try to raise the hood, touch a jumper wire between wires 3000 and 3003 on the control box plug shown below.
- To try to lower the hood, touch a jumper wire between wires 3000 and 3002 on the control box plug shown below.
